Regular Health Checkups

Under Article 66, Section 5 of the Labor Standards Act, attendance at regularly scheduled health examination for Hokkaido University staff is mandatory. This free examination is provided for staff members who work over 20 hours per week and have been employed (or are expected to be employed) for one year or more. Therefore, it is required that you undergo the examination. Additionally, staff members who handle designated chemical substances continuously must undergo a mandatory special health examination within the specified periods.
